welcome! my name is tory. I'm a mother of three wild boys, a devoted home maker, wife and coffee roaster with a strong connection to the natural and supernatural world.  

 

i was raised in the okanagan valley with the guidance of a mother who came from celtic, native american healer, and horseman roots, and a father who had a passion for business and being in the outdoors on his motorcycle.  ​i started apothecary coffee as a backyard passion project when i was in my early postpartum stages with my second baby. as we settled in for a cozy winter and adjusted to the sleepless days and nights with two children, one thing was missing - good coffee!  as our coffee project evolved i felt the urge to incorporate our love for coffee with my connection to the natural world and her healing properties, and apothecary coffee co began.

one of my passions is growing foraging for wild plants and herbs with my three young boys and teaching them about mother natures healing abilities, and sharing this knowledge.  we built up our own home apothecary and have fun making all sorts of specialty teas, syrups, oxymels, tinctures, tonics, salves and baked goods. we pride ourselves on growing and hunting for a lot of our food, and staying connected to family and the earth through being in the forest either on foot or on two wheels.
